You are invited to come see the mine!
We open up the mine 5 weekends per year for digging!
2025 Open Dig Dates
May 23rd, 24th & 25th - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day
June 20th, 21st & 22nd - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day
July 11th, 12th & 13th - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day
August 15th, 16th & 17th - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day
October 3rd, 4th & 5th - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day
There will be signs and flagging leading you up the mine road to the site.
You can bring any tools you want to use, gloves, buckets etc... Rock is plentiful! Plenty of parking. No hiking required!
No entry fee- Rock is $1.50 per lb.
